FIELD DAY 2009

Field Day 2009 is Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28.  Once again, OCARC will be operating from Cronomer Hill Park in Newburgh, NY.

If you would like to find out what Ham Radio is all about, perhaps try your hand at operating during the event (with a licensed Ham attending the radio), and to simply talk to our club members, please consider joining us for Field Day.

We start setting up around 9AM.  Field Day officially starts at 2PM, and is over at 2PM Sunday.  OCARC operates the entire 24 hour period, including overnight, fro Cronomer Hill Park.

Directions are below, along with a map of the area.  We are at the very top of the park - simply follow the park road to the top of the hill.  You can't miss us!

FROM I-84: Pick up Route 32 north/west at Exit 10.  Route 32 runs along side the Alexis Diner.  You will pass Shop Rite and Ethan Allen.  Cronomer Hill Park is on your left - look for the sign.  Follow the road to the top of the hill in the park.

FROM ROUTE 300: Pick up Route 32 south/east.  Cronomer Hill Park will be on your right - the sign is a bit hard to see coming from this direction.  If you pass Ethan Allen and Shop Rite, turn around and look for the sign on your left.  Follow the road to the top of the hill.
